I met Kelsey and her Mom for coffee (back when you could do these things in person 🙂 ) From the moment I met them I knew they were going to be great to work with. Kelsey is so sweet and you would never know that some people might call her a “Deer Slayer”. From what I hear, she is quite the hunter. In fact, the alter was decorated with one of her prized catches. Watch the video in our films gallery to see the country charm in this wedding. Jake is a hard working country loving groom that loves his Bride so much that it oozes out of him in every smile.
Another reason I knew this wedding would be amazing is because of the location. One of my favorite venues of course: Country N Lace. They are located in Toledo, WA. If you have ever met Michelle or Luke you will know they are some of the best wedding hosts you could ever ask for. They will make sure your wedding day is perfect and they really go above and beyond. Sure the venue is amazing, with touches that make a big difference (like a beautiful barn for an indoor wedding, or a few amazing locations outside, or the grooms room, the beautiful bridal room, I could go on and on), you might find Michelle pinning on a boutonniere, Luke lighting up the firepit, or even catch Michelle on the dance floor from time to time 🙂 Did I mention that Michelle also does an amazing job decorating the venue in a way that is special to each couple?
Why was this country wedding one to remember? Was it the branding ceremony? The father of the Bride doing the worm on the dance floor? The amazing couples session we had on a perfect November day amongst the trees? How about the crazy and wild sparkler exit? The vows that were so sweet and personal….a little bit funny too (nice job Jake!). Yep it was all of those things that made it a wedding to remember!
Congratulations Kelsey and Jake! Thanks so much for having me be there for your special day!
